Description

SR_Zone

The IT_SR_Zone draw tool allows the user to quickly draw a zone based on two clicks on the chart. Click on one price level and then on another and the zone is formed. A price guide follows your cursor to help pinpoint your level. The high and low level lines show the price of that level.

To adjust the size or position of the zone, simply click on one of the lines and drag to another price position. Click to anchor it and you are done. The zone survives chart refreshes and platform restarts, as do all the Integrity Traders draw tools. If alerts are activated the price label will be displayed in the active alert color. Once a line is hit the label color will change to the alert triggered color. A line alert can be set/reset by moving the line to a new position. Alerts are now active upon startup or chart refresh if they were active prior. Simply move the line to reactivate the alert once the line is hit.

Here you see the various parameter settings.

By default the tool colors match the button color. This is an aid for matching multiple instances of the tool on the chart to the associated button. Using the override option will let you use any color for the lines and the zone fill.

Change log

3/15/16 - Added the On/Off Toggle.

12/24/15 - Removed the Restore Data section in Parameters to save space.

8/7/15 - Bug fixed where if a line alert (setting) was enabled before drawing the zone the line alert was not set for the line.

8/6/15 - Added ability to toggle the zone color on/off. Fixed an issue with the price text and alerts. Alert status for each line is retained and saved and restored.

5/7/15 - Added drop down quick settings to the button.

4/15/15 - Added optional alerts to each line.

2/18/15 - Modified the indicator to work on non-equidistant bars. Accuracy is retained.

12/8/14 - Reworked tool to get rid of the little object selector squares place by NinjaTrader on an object that is selected for re-dragging and redrawing.

10/14/14 - Added option to see treasury notes and some bonds instruments in their native price format or in a decimal tick representation. Instruments include SR, UB, Z3N, ZB, ZF, ZN and ZT.

10/8/14 - IT_SR_Zone was updated (non-critical) because on some obscure instruments (ex. ZN, Z7, Q1) with odd tick sizes (ex. .015625, .0078125, .0125) the tool would display decimal prices incorrectly.

6/17/14 - Formatted the upper/lower zone text better and corrected a minor issue where the fill would not occur until until the chart was updated. This was seen mostly when drawing on a chart while not connected to data.

5/23/14 - Small bugs fixed. Cross hair not immediately removed at cancellation with Del key. Line prices updated to show trailing zero('s) if warranted.

3/29/14 - Added a large font option for the price labels.

it's the quickest and easiest to change/erase/whatever z trading - I'd have to say. These tools helped me realise trading doesnt have to be complicated to be very profitable. Now I make my target each day before 11am and spend the rest of my day in the cafes and making art - as I am sure God intended me to do!
